When it comes to something as brutal as the Mexican 1000, simply finishing the race is a victory all its own. That victory was ours as the Motoworks / ICON Raiden Triumph Tiger 800XCs successfully crossed the finish line of the NORRA Mexican 1000.
Day One from Ensenada to El Rosario was uneventful, Vanscourt rode the whole stretch on the 312 machine, Ernie split riding duties with his partner Joe Bolton. Challenging terrain including a series of silt beds, deep sand, and tricky navigation was a polite introduction to the obstacles ahead.
With only two days until the kick off of the Mexican 1000, the wraps have been taken off the bikes that we've been working on all year with desert racing extraordinaire, Mark Vanscourt.
