Join the Motoworks Chicago crew this Sunday, May 17, as we head north for Milwaukee’s own Brewtown Rumble. This is a brand new event for 2015 and we’re excited about what they’re up to. Part street festival, part bike show, part egalitarian vintage motorcycle celebration, the Brewtown Rumble looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun. We’re going, and we’re hoping you’ll join us. Here’s how the planners describe the event:
Milwaukee’s new vintage moto fest at the Pabst Brewery – featuring a bike show, bands, food, music, vendors, and a pin-up girl contest.
This will be a day trip, starting at Motoworks Chicago (1901 S. Western Ave) where we’ll open our doors at 8:00 AM for coffee. We’ll be leaving at 9:00 AM sharp. If you show up at 9:05, you’ll have to catch up. Also, like all of our rides, this is not a led ride. That is, everyone is responsible for making their own way to the event and for following all traffic laws along the way. Feel free to join us along the ride at any point, or make your own way at your own pace or route.
Our first stop will be the Starbucks in Winnetka. We’ll leave from there around 10:00 AM and stop again at Full Moon Cafe, up on Hwy 41. We’ll be departing again around 11:00 AM to head up to the actual Brewtown Rumble show in Milwaukee. During that hour, you can grab breakfast, but there’s also a consistent bike gathering that happens at Full Moon on Sundays. So take a lap around the parking lot and she what’s showed up.
Once we arrive at Brewtown Rumble, enjoy the show and make your own way home at your leisure. There will not be a formal ride back to Chicago.
Head over to our Facebook event and RSVP. This will help us know how much coffee to brew! See you Sunday!
